Kindersley RCMP Investigating Mischief in Eston

On April 4th the AGT arena in Eston was broken into and vandalized. The Kindersley RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying the persons of interest from the surveillance video and that anyone who has information that may assist the investigation to reach out to the Kindersley Detachment or contact Crime Stoppers. Kindersley RCMP & Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Team Execute Search Warrant

2024-04-23 As a result of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the Kindersley area, Kindersley RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a search warrant on Railway Avenue West in Kindersley on April 17. Officers located and seized: - approximately 451 grams of MDMA; - approximately 232 grams of methamphetamine; - approximately 50 grams of cocaine packaged into one gram bags; - a sum of cash; - trafficking paraphernalia; and - a firearm and ammunition. Elm Tree Pruning Ban April 1 to August 31, 2024

Dutch Elm Disease (DED) is a deadly fungus that can kill an elm in as little as three weeks by clogging its water-conducting vessels. Once a tree is infected by DED, it needs to be removed and disposed of properly by either burying it or burning it. The Town of Kindersley is dedicated to keeping DED out of our community. Every year the Saskatchewan Dutch Elm Disease Association (SDEDA) implements a pruning ban from April 1 to August 31. Water Vending Project Update – April 20, 2024

WATER VENDING PROJECT UPDATE The concrete contractor is mobilizing to the area on Monday, April 20th to begin the water vending upgrade project. At this time, we WILL accommodate hauling units to back in from 10th Street West to the vending station. Since all water is dispensed on the west side of the vending building this should allow for continued use. However, if we find any safety concerns or any issues arising from use of this facility during the upgrade we will close one or both lanes at any time.
