Meet Councillor Warren Schafer

Meet Councillor Schafer: Councillor Schafer is married and has 4 boys. He has coached ball and hockey for his boys for years. He joined Council to “be sure our community continues to thrive through this downturn”. He believes there is great leadership already in place and looks forward to working with the greatly talented Council members and administration, moving forward.

Meet Councillor Chris Baker

Councillor Baker was born and raised in Kindersley. He and his wife have three children. Chris is the manager of family owned Luk Plumbing Heating & Electric Ltd.

Meet Councillor Gary Becker: He has lived in Kindersley all his life and has run Long-Horn Oil and Gas for over 15 years. He is a father of 3 children and been involved in several local committees over the years.

Meet Councillor Dean Galbraith

40 plus years of living in Kindersley has made Councillor Dean Galbraith a firm supporter of community. He has a strong background in business, being the owner of Guppy’s Car and Truck Spa, Water Pure Bottling Co., along with several commercial buildings in Kindersley. He coached Kindersley Minor Hockey for 10 years, was a member of the KMS Hockey Board for 4 years, and also held a brief position with the Town of Kindersley Appeals Board.

Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, November 16, 2020. The following agenda items were resolved. The Swearing in Ceremony of the Mayor and Councillors for the 2020-2024 term took place at 5pm. Meet the Deputy Mayor

Meet the Deputy Mayor: Randy Ervine is a local business owner and lifetime resident of Kindersley. He owns Lela’s Music Centre on Main Street, a family-owned business where he has worked for over forty years. Ervine has volunteered/coached on many committees, boards, and sports teams in the past 35 years, most recently the Kindersley Minor Sports and the Downtown Kindersley Association. Being involved in the community in different ways and watching his 3 daughters grow up in Kindersley have been highlights for the Deputy Mayor.
