Returning Officer Audrey Hebert made the official public announcement of the newly elected Mayor and Council during a press release held this morning at 9:00am in the Council Chambers of the Town of Kindersley Administration Office.

Mayor Elect Kenneth Francis received a total of 637 votes, succeeding challenger Tom Morris who received 244 votes.
Successfully winning seats on Council are the following (in order of votes cast):
• Councillor-Elect Rob Anderson (705 votes)
• Councillor-Elect Shaun Henry (671 votes)
• Councillor-Elect Warren Schafer (666 votes)
• Councillor-Elect Randy Ervine (633 votes)
• Councillor-Elect Kevin Martin (544 votes)
• Councillor-Elect Anthony Barlow (529 votes)
Remaining candidates unsuccessful in their bid for a Council seat were (also in order of votes cast):
• Daniel Baker (513 votes)
• Jennifer Greschner (418 votes)
The 2024 Council will be officially sworn in for a 4-year term on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 5:00pm in Council Chambers. The first official meeting of the new Council will take place on Monday, November 25, 2024, immediately following the swearing in ceremony.
