We would like to thank everyone who was a part of Canada Day, whether you organized or sponsored an event, volunteered, drove a long way to get here, or participated in the festivities. Events around town were a HUGE success with reports of 1000+ attendees. We couldn’t do it without you!

On Monday, June 29, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting. 7.1: Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Marty Baroni gave the May 2026 Financial Report. 7.2: Council approved a Discretionary Use Application (26-05) for Discretionary Use at the residence of 214 5th Avenue West on the condition that it complies with the Development Standards of Home-Based Businesses pursuant to Section 7.2 (1) to (10), of the Zoning Bylaw 02-22. UPDATE: Phillips Court will be CLOSED to the public and will be paved tomorrow (July 9, 2026) pending weather. Residents on Phillips Court are to put their recycle bins out as they normally would. Recycle pickup will occur in the morning before paving. Preparation for paving will begin on Main Street tomorrow (July 9, 2026) pending weather.
