Kindersley RCMP Request the Public’s Help in Locating Stolen Vehicle

During the early morning hours of November 12th thieve(s) stole a white 4 door 2023 Ford F350 from the West Central Event Centre parking lot in Kindersley. The truck remains outstanding and has a Saskatchewan licence plate bearing 498IRG on it. ‘The Kindersley RCMP are requesting that if anyone sees the vehicle to report it immediately to police.’ stated Staff Sergeant Kevin Peterson. ‘If anyone has information about the two people we have on surveillance camera related to this theft they are of interest to the investigation and we ask that you contact the Kindersley RCMP or there is always the option to call Crime Stoppers.’ Peterson went on to say.
In addition to the truck theft Kindersley RCMP responded to a further 40 calls for service from November 6th to November 12th which included, but was not limited to, two traffic collisions, one assault call and three mental health act concerns calls for service.

Council Highlights – November 14, 2023 Regular Meeting

On Monday, November 14, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting.

7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley directed Administration to distribute approved funding to the following applicants from the Community Grant Program, Fall 2023 intake:

  • Kindersley Chamber of Commerce – $750.00
  • Pathway to Wellness – $750.00
  • Kindersley Museum – $750.00
  • Kindersley Crisis Centre – $750.00
  • Kindersley & District Health and Wellness – $750.00
  • KAWS – $750.00
  • Kindersley Screen Arts – $750.00
  • NRC Management Group – $750.00

8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $672,620.97.

9.1: Mayor Rod Perkins proclaimed November 18 to 26, 2023 as Saskatchewan Multicultural Week in the Town of Kindersley. Council urges Kindersley residents to visit www.mcos.ca to find more information about multiculturalism in Saskatchewan.

10.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing:

  1. October 2023 Kindersley Policing Report
  2. Kindersley Chamber Minutes – October 26, 2023
  3. Downtown Kindersley Association Minutes – November 7, 2023
  4. Stars – October 31, 2023 SUMA Letter
  5. Stars – Mission Records
