While the Town’s role does NOT entail funding housing developments, we are collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and residents to build diverse housing for various income levels. Celebrating Seniors Provincial Volunteer Award

The Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism (SSM) is in the planning phase for the Provincial 2025 Celebrating Seniors Awards Event and Banquet, which will take place on September 28, 2025, at the Conexus Art Centre in Regina. This is an important, in-person, and high-profile event where older adults are celebrated for their volunteer work. Elm Tree Pruning Bans Have Begun!

ELM TREE PRUNING BANS April 1 to August 31. Dutch Elm Disease (DED) is a deadly fungus that can kill an elm in as little as three weeks by clogging its water-conducting vessels. Once a tree is infected by DED, it needs to be removed and disposed of properly by either burying it or burning it. The Town of Kindersley is dedicated to keeping DED out of our community. Every year the Saskatchewan Dutch Elm Disease Association (SDEDA) implements a pruning ban from April 1 to August 31.
