Great Christmas Light Hanging Weather

Alongside the Kindersley Museum & Tourism Centre's Museum of Lights project, we'd like to encourage our residents to get out there while it's nice outside and decorate for the holiday season! A few days ago we received a message that this photo of Kindersley taken by Ken Jamieson had been published as "Photo of the Day" in the Havana Times in Cuba on July 14th. His photo is called "Smokey Kindersley Sunset". How neat that photos of our Town made it all the way to Cuba! (Please note that we don't endorse this newspaper or views inside it, we've never heard of it before, we are just tickled that photos of Kindersley are travelling the distance they are!)

Kindersley RCMP Lay Several Charges Related to Search Warrant

Kindersley RCMP Lay Several Charges related to Search Warrant 2023-11-28 On November 21 Kindersley RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Major, SK as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers located and seized approximately 216 grams of suspected methamphetamine, three firearms, ammunition and trafficking paraphernalia in the residence. An adult male was arrested at the residence. 41-year old Willis William Kostiuk from Major, Saskatchewan is charged with 23 charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and possessing a firearm when prohibited.
