Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, March 11, 2019. The following resolutions were made regarding the amendment to Bylaw 04-14 Known as the Zoning Bylaw, services for the new Fire Hall, and accepting the accounts of the Town of Kindersley.A new Councillor was sworn in at the meeting. The Kindersley Aquatic Centre will be having their ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at 1:00PM. Public swimming will not be available during the time of the ceremony. Schedules will be released for the weekend. Everyone is welcome!

Council Highlights - February 25 Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, February 25, 2019. The following resolutions were made regarding a new Deputy Mayor, an Easement Agreement with Peavey Mart, and Bylaw 02-19. Councillor Randy Ervine was appointed to serve as the Deputy Mayor as Deputy Mayor Shaun Henry and his family will be moving from the Town of Kindersley. Mayor Perkins thanked Deputy Mayor Henry for his years of Council Involvement and community service. The Public Spitting, Urination, and Defecation Bylaw There will be a new Bylaw (02-19) known as "The Public Spitting, Urination, and Defecation Bylaw". These actions, in any public place, whether publicly or privately owned, constitute a health risk and a nuisance which may affect the amenity of a neighborhood. Any officer, Police Officer, Municipal Enforcement Officer, or any other person duly authorized by the Council of the Town of Kindersley is designated to enforce this Bylaw. Council Highlights-February 11 Town Council held their Regular Meeting on Monday, February 11, 2019. The following resolutions were made about the Highway 7 Corridor Study, amendments to Bylaw 04-14, and amendments to bylaw 03-14. A Public Hearing was held to discuss Bylaw 01-19, a Bylaw to amend Bylaw No. 03-14, known as the Official Community Plan of the Town of Kindersley. After no objections from the public, the second reading was approved. A Non-Exclusive Occupancy Agreement with KAWS Animal Rescue was entered for a period of two years.
