ELM TREE PRUNING BANS STARTED ON TUESDAY! April 1 to August 31. Dutch Elm Disease (DED) is a deadly fungus that can kill an elm in as little as three weeks by clogging its water-conducting vessels. Once a tree is infected by DED, it needs to be removed and disposed of properly by either burying it or burning it. The Town of Kindersley is dedicated to keeping DED out of our community. The Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism (SSM) is in the planning phase for the Provincial 2025 Celebrating Seniors Awards Event and Banquet, which will take place on September 28, 2025, at the Conexus Art Centre in Regina. This is an important, in-person, and high-profile event where older adults are celebrated for their volunteer work.
