Town No Longer Providing Recycle Bins at the Old Landfill
The Town will no longer provide recycle bins at the old landfill. People are abusing this area and we can no longer operate these bins as they are very clearly only being used as a dumping site. $5000.00 dumping tickets will be issued to anyone leaving recycling or ANY type of waste at the old landfill. This will be strongly enforced. We tried to work with this area for years in hopes people would respect the recycling area free of charge, but unfortunately we have to close this option.

Deputy Mayor Randy Ervine proclaimed October 8-14, 2023 as Fire Prevention Week in the Town of Kindersley. Council urges the people of Kindersley to check their kitchens for fire hazards and use safe cooking practices during Fire Prevention Week 2023. Friendly reminder for those visiting the Aquatic Centre: Children under 7 years of age or non-swimmers who cannot pass the swim test MUST ALWAYS BE WITHIN ARM'S REACH of a capable and responsible caregiver (an adult or youth who is a proficient swimmer and is knowledgeable and active in their caregiver role).
