Fall Lifeguard Training is live on our website! Bronze Medallion challenges the candidate both mentally and physically. Judgment, knowledge, skill and fitness - the four components of water rescue - form the basis of Bronze Medallion training. Candidates acquire the assessment and problem-solving skilled needed to make good decisions in, on and around the water. 100% attendance is mandatory. Prerequisites for Bronze Medallion: minimum 13 years of age or Bronze Star. Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. If you did a Food Safety Course through the Kindersley Museum & Tourism Centre in May and have not picked up your certificates, please do! They will be available at the Museum between 10am and 6pm daily for the month of September. After that, the Museum will be closed for the season and you will have to call for an appointment to pick them up.
