Let’s talk CHICKENS! There have been a number of inquiries regarding having chickens within the Town of Kindersley. Our Bylaw to Provide for the Care and Control of Animals, Bees, Livestock and Poultry defines “PET” as domesticated or tamed and kept as a companion: not raised for profit; not customarily raised for human consumption. A chicken is customarily raised for human consumption and therefore does not meet the definition of a pet.
