You can now purchase seats online using our online payment service provider Plastiq. You do have to make a Plastiq account if you don't have one already. Council Highlights October 15, 2024 – Regular Meeting

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. 7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to set the rates of remuneration for the 2024-2028 term as follows: Mayor: $2,500.00 per month Deputy Mayor: $1,000.00 per month, and Councillor: $750.00 per month 7.2: Council resolved to support administration to submit a grant application to the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program (GICB) for the renovation and expansion of the Community Hall and that the Town of Kindersley's share of the project(s) cost come from taxation and fees. 7.3: Town Council authorized the Fire Department to outfit the [...]

Election Details

Now that we're having a Municipal Election (November 13, 2024), let's talk about who can vote! Eligible voters must be: - At least 18 years of age on Election Day; - A Canadian citizen; - A resident of Saskatchewan for at least six consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day; and either a) a resident of the Town of Kindersley for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day; or b) an owner of assessable land for at least three consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day.

2024-2028 Council Candidates

Everyone has been anxiously waiting to know who is running for the 2024-2028 Municipal Elections for Mayor and Councillor positions. The Town of Kindersley has one (1) Mayor position and six (6) Councillor positions.
