All-Wheel Park & Recreation Area Basic Skills & BBQ Night

The Kindersley All-Wheel Park & Recreation Area had an awesome turnout for a Basic Skills Session & BBQ! The group is hoping to host weekly skill sessions and will be continuing to fundraise for the All-Wheel Park & Recreation Area to be built in the near future! On Monday, June 12, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. 6.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve as presented the Minutes from the May 23, 2023 Regular Meeting of Council. 7.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $1,428,242.52. 8.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing: Kindersley Policing Report - May 2023 SaskWater Monthly Report - May 2023 Subdivision Approval SUBD-001142-2023 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Summary

MEET OUR PART-TIME TOURISM ADVISOR: AILANIE

MEET OUR PART-TIME TOURISM ADVISOR: AILANIE Ailanie and her family migrated in Kindersley, SK last September 2022 from the county of Kuwait. She is an experienced Accountant and Operation Officer in Kuwait for 18 years. Ailanie obtained an Accounting Bookkeeping certificate from Career City College in Alberta, Canada. She is currently working as a seasonal Tourism Advisor at Town of Kindersley. When she’s not working she loves outdoor activity, playing volleyball ball and badminton with her kids. For her family’s happiness is the priority.

Who keeps these lovely baskets and the flower boxes alive on hot days like today? Our awesome Parks team! Some of the duties of the parks team include, but aren't limited to maintaining our green spaces and parks, maintaining our ball diamonds, and taking care of the flowers. Duties vary during the winter. Our team includes a couple of full-time workers and some seasonal summer students. #ParksAndRecreationMonth
