Council Highlights – February 27, 2023 Regular Meeting

On Monday, February 27, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. The following items were resolved: 7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a Land Sale Agreement with Pro-Bilt Structures for the sale of 15 Knox Street in the amount of $66,465.19 plus applicable taxes. 8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of  Kindersley in the amount of $323,204.23. 9.1: Town Council resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which includes the following items for acceptance and filing: SaskWater [...]

Council Highlights – February 13, 2023 Regular Meeting

On February 13, 2023, Town Council held their Regular Meeting. The following items were resolved: 7.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley awarded IB Story Inc. as the successful bidder for the Engineering Arena Upgrade Services as per the submitted RFP, and that the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) are directed to enter into an agreement in the amount of $216,900.00 plus applicable taxes. 7.2: Council resolved to direct the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into a 1-year Economic Development Contract with ShaeCo Solutions for the Initiate Bundle in the amount of $4000/month plus applicable taxes. West Central Events Centre Refrigeration Plant Lifecycle Upgrade

"Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities, and Saskatchewan's Government Relations Minister Don McMorris, announced more than $19.7 million in joint funding for 25 infrastructure projects across the province." "In the Town of Kindersley, the West Central Event Centre will benefit from a complete lifecycle upgrade of its refrigeration plant. The upgrade will increase energy efficiency and create a greener and self-sustaining facility. Other measures to reduce energy consumption include replacing leaky exterior doors and converting to LED lighting throughout the facility."
