Kinsmen Park Update: There is ice, we hope the temperatures stay low enough to facilitate skating for the rest of the season. Thanks to the volunteers who put the ice in! As for our other outdoor ice surfaces, they are made of concrete and warm up way too quickly with these temperatures to keep ice cold (the Kinsmen is dirt underneath). A few days ago we received a message that this photo of Kindersley taken by Ken Jamieson had been published as "Photo of the Day" in the Havana Times in Cuba on July 14th. His photo is called "Smokey Kindersley Sunset". How neat that photos of our Town made it all the way to Cuba! (Please note that we don't endorse this newspaper or views inside it, we've never heard of it before, we are just tickled that photos of Kindersley are travelling the distance they are!)
