Celebrating the Life of Rod Perkins

We will be closing the Town of Kindersley Administration Office today at 12:00pm for the afternoon to celebrate the life of our previous Mayor, Rod Perkins. Mayor Perkins was a local businessman, a board member for many organizations in town, and most importantly a family man who often spoke about spending time with his grandchildren. We knew him best in Council Chambers where he was a humble, compassionate, and well-educated colleague who truly wanted the best for the residents of the Town of Kindersley. Mayor Francis’ Visit to Westberry School

On Tuesday, Mayor Francis was thrilled to visit the Westberry Elementary School Grade 2s for a chat about how local government works and what it's like to be the Mayor. Many great questions were asked. Thank you all for being wonderful hosts!

Councillor Kevin Martin enjoyed decorating Smile Cookies yesterday with the Heritage Manor volunteers! Get your Smile Cookies before they are gone and support our local senior citizens! Proceeds will be shared equally between Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, and the Kindersley Heritage Manor Dining Room Project!
