You may have noticed a change to our skyline here in Kindersley. On July 19 our 1912 water tower was demolished. Although it was a historic icon in our town, due to structural integrity, it had to be removed. We will be creating a commemorative piece for it in the near future.
Interesting facts about the tower:
- Constructed by John Galt Engineering Co.
- Capacity 100,000 gallons
- Steel Construction
- 107′ 6″ high
- Total structure including legs weighed 122,000 lbs
