Currently we are eager to see residents from a distance at our 2nd annual Museum of Lights. The event will be hosted during the first three weekends of December both Friday and Saturday evening from 6pm-10pm. Sundays will be reserved for private bookings. We have been working on this project since the end of September and hope to make it our biggest and best outdoor display. This year will be a drive thru event where families will drive through our display, rather than walk through. Volunteers will be directing traffic. Families are encouraged to come and leave with their immediate household. The event will be admission by donation as always. We encourage visitors to put their donation in a Ziplock bag or envelope before attending and to drop it into the bin by the gates from their vehicle window. We also will accept mail in donations and are looking into the possibility of e-transfer. We would also like to thank our private donors, volunteers, and those in the community who have donated Christmas decoration, lights, or funding to us.
If you are interested in a volunteer opportunity, the work is not done yet! We will be meeting at a distance on Saturday, November 21, and Saturday, November 28. Masks are mandatory inside and outside of the Museum to ensure there is no transmission of COVID-19. Please do not attend if you are sick and consider bringing work gloves and your own industrial staplers.
