Residential:

•No more tiered rates
•Flat rate of $5.50 per cubic meter
•Monthly (Standard Water Connection) charge was $25.75, is now $17.25
•No more sewer based on consumption
•No more sewer connection fees
•Billing will occur every two months instead of quarterly

 

Commercial:

•No more tiered rates
•Flat rate of $6.50 per cubic meter
•Monthly (Standard Water Connection) charge was $25.75, is now $17.25
•No more sewer based on consumption
•No more sewer connection fees
•Billing will occur every two months instead of quarterly

 

Water Vending:

Water Vending in Industrial area $7.00 per cubic meter

 

What Else Has Changed?

1. Billing: Has changed to bi-monthly from quarterly. In order to initiate this change please be aware that you are currently in:

  • Cycle 1 customers will receive water bills two months in a row
  • Cycle 2 customers will receive water bills three months in a row

Cycle 1 and 2 will become Cycle A. Cycle 3 will become Cycle B.

2. Landlords: Please be advised that should your tenant’s water bills become delinquent, the outstanding balance will be transferred to the taxes for the property.

3. Account Number: Please ensure you have the proper account number when paying online. If your water account has changed, you may need to make changes to your online banking. Banks usually require the centre 8 digits 000-(00000000)-000 and some banks will require 11 digits 000-(00000000-000)

4. Pay Online: You can pay for your utilities online if you wish at Kindersley.ca/pay-online/utilities. Please remember there is a 2.5% transaction fee from our provider Plastiq.

5. Phone Number: Please ensure to update your phone number with us if changes have been made.

6. E-Billing: E-billing is available if you would like to receive your utility bills by email
