]]> On Monday, August 24, 2026, Town Council had their Regular Meeting.

7.1: Deputy Administrator Jenna Lavoie gave the July 2026 Financial Report.

8.1: Council resolved to accept as submitted the list of accounts as paid by the Town of Kindersley in the amount of $1,313,991.78 and Payroll in the amount of $106,502.22.

9.1: All three readings of Bylaw 07-26 Being a Bylaw to Provide for the Classifying and Regulating of Mobile Homes, and to License the Occupants of Mobile Home Parks were approved.

9.2: All three readings of Bylaw 08-26 Being a Bylaw to Regulate the Maintenance and Management of Water, Sanitary, Storm Water, and Plumbing Systems were approved.

9.3: The first reading of Bylaw 09-26 Being a Bylaw to Amend Bylaw 02-22 The Zoning Bylaw was approved.

10.1: The Council of the Town of Kindersley resolved to approve the Consent Agenda which included the following items for acceptance and filing:

  1. SaskWater Operating Report – July 2026
  2. Kindersley Museum Minutes – July 12, 2026

Beginning August 26, 2026, the Town will begin relining and rehabilitating the interior of the Water Tower.
To prepare for this work, the tower’s water level will be naturally lowered by town usage to a point that the tower will no longer be supplying pressure, and the system pressure is maintained entirely by the Water Treatment Plant’s distribution pumps. The remaining water must be emptied through a release valve at the base, draining overland to the nearest storm water catch basin.
Throughout this project, the Town will be under Level 1 Water Restrictions, the lowest restriction level. While all systems have been fully tested and contingency procedures are in place, this precautionary measure ensures our water storage remains sufficient in the event of a water main break or emergency firefighting needs.
Your water may be temporarily discolored, please run your taps to flush the lines. Water remains safe to drink.
The Fat Cat’s Spray Park located at Baker Park is now CLOSED for the season due to the project.
