Annual Events

Goose Festival
Kindersley will be celebrating its 42nd annual Goose Festival in September 2014. Hosted by the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce, the Goose Festival is the celebration of traditions; Kindersley’s past, present and future. The annual festival includes a weekend packed full of events, music and contests, featuring the Goose Festival parade and cabaret with a live band.
Culture Days

Culture Days is a national initiative that began in 2010. Kindersley has participated in Culture Days since its beginning. A wide range of interactive and diverse cultural activities in Kindersley provide excellent opportunities for hands-on cultural experiences. Saskatchewan artists and cultural workers engage new audiences and share their skills and talents with the community. Kindersley’s Culture Days have featured ethnic cuisine, music, art and literature from around the world. Culture Days encourage and inspire people to try something new and contributes significantly to community involvement in Kindersley.

Trade Show
Kindersley’s trade show provides an opportunity to showcase products and services. Local businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, and crafters are able to set up a booth in Kindersley’s West Central Events Center for 3 days to promote themselves and their products to the community. People are able to enjoy an afternoon of learning, shopping, socializing, and vending.
Rodeo

The Town of Kindersley is pleased to host the annual indoor rodeo in the West Central Events Center every summer. The Kindersley Indoor Rodeo has taken the honour of Top Rodeo from the Canadian Cowboys Association and The Kindersley Rodeo Committee has worked very hard to make the Rodeo a nationwide success.

Canada Day

The Town of Kindersley hosts Canada Day festivities annually and partners with many other groups and organizations to make the day a success. Canada Day 2013 celebrations were held at the Kindersley and District Plains Museum and featured a youth carnival, bouncy castles, face painting and birthday cake. With the farmers market set up at the museum, it was a day of entertainment for people of all ages. Canada Day would not be the same without fireworks and the Town of Kindersley puts on a beautiful display every year to celebrate the community’s national pride.
