The Kindersley Regional Airport is a busy airport utilized by regular charter aircraft flying customers in to attend meetings, as well as courier services, Medi-vacs, flight training, and aerial spray operations. There are also a large number of recreational pilots who use Kindersley Regional Airport as a fuel stop.
The Kindersley Regional Airport has two runways and, as of November 2012, certification with Transport Canada has been discontinued.

Regional Partnership
The Kindersley Regional Airport is governed by a board formed by the Town of Kindersley, Rural Municipality of Kindersley #290, Rural Municipal of Oakdale #320, Rural Municipality of Antelope Park #322, Rural Municipality of Milton #292, Rural Municipality of Prairiedale #321. There are also members at large who represent the oil and gas sector, West Central Enterprise Region, and other aviation stakeholders.
This initiative earned the Kindersley Regional Airport the
2009 Saskatchewan Municipal Award for Regional Partnerships.
The Kindersley Flying Club is based at the airport.
