Dust control product application will begin in the Kindersley Industrial Area beginning Thursday, June 9. The Town of Kindersley has contracted Tiger Calcium to provide the service this year throughout the Industrial Area and also on the grid road adjacent to Boston Pizza .
Tiger Calcium performed previous test applications in the Industrial Area in 2015. A total of $40,000 has been designated toward dust control in the 2016 Budget.
Other Work Scheduled:
- Public Works will also begin its annual roadway patchwork and pothole repair program on June 9. A total of $150,000 has been allocated to this work in the 2016 Budget, an increase over last year.
- H20 Logistics will perform its bi-annual maintenance check of the Motherwell Reservoir Aeration System and performing routine water quality tests.
